Since starting our commercial real estate appraisal business in 1993, our goal has always been to provide high quality commercial real estate valuation and advisory services to our clients using quality information, cutting-edge technology and timely delivery. We aim to help our clients make the most informed decisions in an often complex and ever-changing world.
We have the largest team of full-time commercial real estate valuation experts in our market. This means we can quickly handle assignments that range from single assets to larger portfolios and deliver excellent quality work to help our clients make educated decisions.

Brief History
In the firm’s 30+ year history our name has evolved to better reflect changes in our business structure and ownership. The firm started as a two-person partnership known as Italia & Lemp, Inc. Christopher Italia, a valued partner and friend, sadly passed away. In 2013, the firm joined Valbridge Property Advisors. We enjoyed ten+ years operating as a franchisee under the Valbridge umbrella. The friends and relationships we made will remain despite our transition back to a fully independent commercial real estate appraisal firm which will be known as Ascendant Valuation Advisors.

The Team
Our team is made up of a diverse group of talented individuals that strive to produce timely accurate work product that clients rely upon. We are the largest commercial real estate appraisal firm in the State of Connecticut that provides valuation and advisory services. We have five team members who hold the prestigious MAI designation earned by the Appraisal Institute plus five additional appraisers going through the designation process and two provisional appraisers working towards a state license.
